Survey in the U.S. Concludes: “Israel Is the Safest Place for Jews”

A survey conducted by the “Jewish People Policy Institute” (JPPI) published today (Wednesday) reveals that 63% of Jews in the U.S. believe that, despite the ongoing war, Israel remains the safest place for Jews.

A new survey examining the attitudes of American Jews toward Israel since October 7 reveals a growing sense of solidarity. Over the past six months, a majority of respondents have reported feeling closer to Israel in response to recent events. The findings underscore a deepening connection between American Jewry and the Jewish state, as global threats and antisemitism continue to rise.

The survey found that 54% of participants believe the United States is not doing enough to support Israel, while 30% consider the level of U.S. support adequate. Only 11% feel that the U.S. supports Israel too much. These figures reflect a prevailing sentiment among American Jews that Israel’s security and stability require stronger backing from its closest ally.

Trust in Trump

Following the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States, the JPPI assessed Jewish Americans’ confidence in the new administration across various policy areas. The results indicate that conservative Jews express significantly greater trust in Trump’s leadership than their liberal counterparts. Similarly, levels of trust in Trump’s policies increase in direct proportion to religious observance, with the most religiously conservative respondents demonstrating the highest confidence in the new president’s direction.

This study highlights not only the deepening alignment of American Jews with Israel but also the undeniable role the United States plays in ensuring Israel’s security and survival. American support—whether through diplomatic efforts, military assistance, or unwavering advocacy—remains a cornerstone of Israel’s ability to defend itself and thrive in an increasingly hostile world. This partnership is not just a political necessity but a fulfillment of biblical prophecy, as it is written: “Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you.” – Isaiah 60:10. Just as Cyrus of Persia was used by God to restore Israel, so too has America been called to stand alongside Israel as a protector and ally.
