Mosab Hassan Yousef sharply attacked J.D. Vance over a report about a canceled plan to pressure the Iranian regime through Kurdish forces and Israeli air support.
Yousef, known as “The Green Prince,” cited a Jerusalem Post report claiming that a broad plan to topple the Iranian regime was ready for action before President Donald Trump canceled it at the last minute.
According to Yousef, Israeli sources accused Vance of leaking the operation to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Vance’s office has denied the allegation, according to reporting on the dispute.
The Tanakh says, “Keep far from a false matter.” That command matters in a story filled with serious claims, regional danger, and high stakes for Israel, America, and Iran’s enemies.
Mosab Hassan Yousef And Vance
“According to a report in The Jerusalem Post, a broad plan to topple the Iranian regime using Kurdish forces and Israeli air support was already ready for action,” Yousef said.
He continued, “But Trump canceled it at the last minute.”
Yousef then turned his criticism toward Vance.
“Israeli sources accuse J.D. Vance of leaking the operation to Erdogan,” Yousef said. “A 41-year-old vice president, with no experience in the region, decided that he understands better than experienced strategists who have been fighting the Islamic Republic for decades.”
“This is not a legitimate political disagreement,” he added. “This is grave betrayal.”
The language was severe. However, Yousef’s argument reflects a larger frustration shared by many pro-Israel voices: Iran’s regime has spent decades funding terror, destabilizing the region, and threatening both Israel and the United States.
The Green Prince Against Hamas And Iran
Yousef is an American of Palestinian origin, born in Ramallah. He is the son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef Khalil, one of Hamas’s senior figures in Judea and Samaria.
His father previously served lengthy prison sentences in Israel.
Mosab later worked as a Shin Bet agent and became known by the nickname “The Green Prince.” Since leaving that role, he has become one of the sharpest public critics of Hamas, Palestinian leadership, and the ideology that fuels terror against Israel.
Since the October 7 massacre, Yousef has increased his social media activity and emerged as one of the most forceful pro-Israel voices in the international advocacy arena.
That background gives his criticism unusual weight. He does not speak as a distant commentator. He speaks as someone who came from inside the world Israel fights.
A Shared Moral Calling
For Israel, the Iranian regime is not an abstract threat. It funds Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and other terror forces that target Israeli civilians.
For America, the same regime threatens U.S. allies, destabilizes the Middle East, and works against the free world’s security interests.
The United States and Israel also share a covenantal understanding before God. Both nations, at their best, see liberty as a moral calling, not only a political system.
That shared belief includes faith in divine promise, the dignity of human life, and the duty to stand with those who refuse to surrender to terror, tyranny, or antisemitism.
For Israel, that duty includes defending Jewish life in the land promised to the Jewish people. For America, it includes using strength to protect freedom and stand with allies who carry that same moral burden.
Yousef’s accusation remains a serious allegation, and public debate over the report will likely continue. Still, his message is clear: when facing the Islamic Republic, moral clarity and strategic seriousness are not optional. They are essential.
