This morning (Monday), Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar held a joint press conference with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaya Kallas. In his remarks, Saar addressed the recent terror attack near Yokneam in which a 75-year-old man was murdered, pointing to the ongoing incitement by the Palestinian Authority as the direct cause.

Watch: Saar’s Speech Beside the EU Foreign Affairs Minister:

Incitement – Not Just Terror

According to Foreign Minister Saar, “We are fighting the free world’s war. Iran, the Houthis, Hamas, and Hezbollah are attacking us because we are close to them. But do not be mistaken – their war is against Western civilization, its values, and way of life. It’s natural and vital that we expect more support from Europe.”

Saar emphasized the direct link between terrorist attacks and political rhetoric on the Palestinian street: “This morning, we saw the barbaric terror attack near Yokneam, which took the life of a 75-year-old man. This is a result of the ongoing incitement by the Palestinian Authority.”
