One man was killed and several others were wounded Sunday in a suspected shooting attack that unfolded across multiple locations in central Israel’s Sharon region.

The attack began at a gas station near Kochav Yair, northeast of Tel Aviv. It then continued near Tzur Yitzhak and Route 5533, close to Tzur Natan.

Police and rescue forces were called to several scenes as reports came in of gunfire from a vehicle.

According to initial reports, two terrorists traveling in a silver Toyota opened fire at multiple locations.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Several others were evacuated for medical treatment, including victims listed in serious and moderate condition.

Multi-Scene Shooting

The attack sent large police, security, and rescue forces across the area.

Security forces arrested one suspect, while reports said searches continued for another suspect.

The vehicle used in the attack was located and seized.

The shooting marks another deadly terror attack against Israeli civilians, this time in the heart of central Israel.
