A 28-year-old man was moderately wounded today (Saturday) in a terror stabbing attack on Mikveh Israel Street in Tel Aviv’s Levontin neighborhood. Paramedics treated the victim, who was conscious and speaking, before transporting him to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv for further care.

The assailant, identified as Salah Yahya, 19, a resident from Tulkarm who entered Israel illegally, targeted the restaurant area in Levontin, stabbing the victim before being shot and neutralized by an armed civilian. Tel Aviv District Police forces quickly secured the area, with assistance from a police helicopter, and conducted extensive searches to ensure public safety. Tel Aviv District Commander Haim Sarga’rof led an on-site assessment with officers.

Paramedic Report: Life-Saving Care Provided on the Scene

Senior Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedic Itai Atias recounted the response: “We arrived quickly with a large team and found a man in his late 20s lying on the road, fully conscious and suffering from a stab wound to his upper body. We immediately provided life-saving medical treatment. He was responsive and speaking with us. We placed him in the intensive care ambulance and transported him while continuing to provide medical care.”

In moments like these, we are reminded of God’s unwavering faithfulness and mercy, offering hope and renewal even in the face of tragedy. As the Bible declares: “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh every morning.” – Lamentations 3:22-23.
