Highlighting the extraordinary national effort during wartime, Zamir emphasized the pivotal lesson learned: “We must primarily rely on ourselves—we have no other choice.”

In some areas, we had to work 24/7, and factory workers joined shifts on Fridays and Saturdays out of a sense of mission. This was an extraordinary national effort, and I want to thank you for it.”

Dr. Ron Tomer, President of the Manufacturers Association, highlighted the strategic importance of manufacturing independence, noting its role in overcoming embargoes and ensuring Israel’s economy and military meet all challenges. “Only through this independence can Israel stand against its enemies,” Tomer affirmed, pledging continued collaboration with the Defense Ministry to strengthen production capabilities for future challenges. “Our goal is clear: to ensure manufacturing independence that enables the military and the state to face any future challenge.”
