Since October 7th, 2023, Israel has been forced to fight a war that it did not start. And this time is no exception, inspiring poignant and powerful classic Israeli songs once again reflect the nation’s unwavering spirit and faith amidst adversity. Shema Yisrael – Hear O Israel

Here is a very powerful version of this song that was written and produced at a music school in Southern Israel. It is one of a series of songs written in memory of one of the school’s founders, Tamar Kedem Siman Tov who was killed along with her entire family by Hamas terrorists on October 7th and with a prayer for the safe return of another founder, Sagui Dekel Chen who was kidnapped.
