Iran Missile Attack
Iran launched missiles toward Israel tonight, escalating the confrontation after Israel’s strike in Dahiyeh.
Following the launches, the IDF Spokesperson said the Iranian regime had made “a grave mistake.”
“The Israeli Defense Forces are very well prepared both defensively and offensively,” the spokesperson said. “The Chief of Staff is approving plans for what comes next.”
The IDF also made clear that Iran’s attempt to impose a new equation would not stop Israeli operations.
“We will continue to strike throughout Lebanon despite the equation that Iran is trying to impose,” the spokesperson said.
Iran Issues Threats
Following the strikes, Iran announced the closure of its airspace in the western part of the country.
A spokesperson for the commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters claimed that Israel had “crossed all red lines” by striking Dahiyeh after escalating attacks in southern Lebanon.
Iran also said it had previously warned that if Israeli attacks against Dahiyeh continued or expanded, it would act against targets in what it called “the occupied territories.”

Iranian officials tried to frame the missile launch as the fulfillment of that threat. Seyed Majid Moosavi, commander of the Air and Space Force in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, posted on X: “The promise was fulfilled.”
Then came the threat.
“If the Zionist army continues its assaults in southern Lebanon and in the Dahieh, or responds to any Iranian action, it will face harsher and more severe blows,” the Iranian statement said.
The statement added that “devastating attacks” would be launched against Israel and its supporters.
“The Promise Was Fulfilled”
After the missile launches, the commander of the Air and Space Force in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards posted a short message.
“The promise was fulfilled,” he wrote.
The message was meant to project strength. But Israel’s response was immediate: Tehran had crossed a dangerous line.
Trump Calls for a Deal
U.S. President Donald Trump also responded to tonight’s Iranian launches.
“My advice to Iran: you fired your missiles. That’s enough,” Trump said. “Go back to the negotiating table and make a deal.”
The message from Israel was sharper.
Iran fired missiles at the Jewish state. Israel says it is prepared to defend itself, strike back, and continue operating against the threats surrounding it.
For Israel, the issue is not only tonight’s launches. It is the broader Iranian attempt to dictate when and where the Jewish state can defend itself.
Israel’s answer is clear: Tehran does not get to set the rules.
