IDF Forces Eliminate Dozens of Terrorists, Destroy Multiple Booby-Trapped Buildings

The combat team of the Iron Fist Brigade (205th) continues its operational activity in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of the Rafah area. So far, the forces have located and destroyed dozens of terrorist infrastructures and uncovered large quantities of weaponry used by Hamas.

During the operation, forces discovered UNRWA humanitarian aid sacks with weapons hidden inside, just 80 meters from a building that formerly served as a school and about 100 meters from a building that was previously a hospital in Rafah.

In addition, the forces eliminated dozens of terrorists, guided by the brigade’s fire coordination center, and located and destroyed several booby-trapped houses.

“We are operating in the Tel Sultan area in the Rafah sector,” said Major G., a commander in the 205th Brigade. “In recent weeks, we have been tirelessly working throughout the area to locate and destroy weapons caches. We are operating relentlessly against terrorist organizations to ensure the security of the State of Israel, protect the home front, and aid in the mission to rescue the hostages. We will continue to act with force and without pause to complete our mission.”

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated: “IDF forces will continue to operate against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip in order to protect the citizens of the State of Israel.”
