The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue their determined efforts to eradicate terrorist infrastructure in Jenin, a stronghold of Iran and Hamas-backed militant groups. Colonel A., commander of the Menashe Brigade, made it clear that this operation has no time limit, emphasizing that Israel is committed to eliminating the growing terrorist threats in Judea and Samaria. He explained that these terrorist factions receive financial and logistical support from external sources, including Iran, and added, “We are determined to prevent them and the terror networks from gaining strength.” Due to the ongoing security operations, the area has remained unusually quiet for the past week, free from riots or significant disturbances.
“Every Targeted House Was Used for Terrorist Activity”
As part of this extensive operation, the IDF has identified and targeted locations directly tied to terrorist activity. Colonel A. stressed that every house affected during this mission has been used either for weapons manufacturing or as a command center for orchestrating attacks against Israel. The IDF is mindful of civilian infrastructure and aims to minimize unnecessary destruction. He firmly stated that, “We do whatever is necessary when it comes to fighting terrorism.”

“We Will Leave Only When the Mission Is Complete”
Over the past week, during the Menashe Brigade’s operation, the IDF, Border Police, and Shin Bet (General Security Service) have successfully eliminated over 15 terrorists through airstrikes and ground combat, arrested more than 40 wanted individuals, and seized dozens of weapons and combat equipment found in the area.
Over the past week, the Menashe Brigade, in cooperation with Border Police and the Shin Bet, have successfully eliminated more than 15 terrorists through airstrikes and ground combat, arrested dozens of wanted operatives, and seized a significant cache of weapons, including explosive devices and firearms. The IDF’s mission is far from over. The sector commander stated, “We will leave only when the mission is complete—to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure down to its core.”

Terrorists Hiding in Children’s Bedrooms
Lieutenant Colonel D., commander of the Haruv Reconnaissance Unit, which has been leading operations in the area, exposed the disturbing reality of how terrorist networks operate within civilian populations. He described how seemingly ordinary homes mask secret passages leading to fortified terror cells. In one instance, IDF forces entered a home that appeared entirely innocent, with children’s posters and a “Hannah Montana” sticker on the wall. However, behind a wooden wardrobe, they uncovered a concealed tunnel leading to a fully operational combat room used by terrorists.
Such tactics not only endanger Israeli lives but also exploit the most vulnerable. The Bible unequivocally condemns those who sacrifice innocent lives for their own gain, as seen in the words of the prophet Ezekiel: “You took your sons and daughters and sacrificed them. You slaughtered my children.” – Ezekiel 16:20-21. Just as in biblical times, God abhors the shedding of innocent blood and holds accountable those who use children as tools of war.
The IDF’s mission in dismantling these terror networks is both complex and vital. While Israel strives to protect innocent lives, its enemies intentionally embed themselves within civilian areas, making military operations all the more challenging. Yet, as history and scripture remind us, those who seek righteousness will prevail. Evil cannot hide behind children forever—truth and justice will triumph.

“This Operation Is Different”
While the IDF has conducted multiple security operations in Jenin over the past year, the scale and intensity of the current mission set it apart. Unlike previous missions that focused on disrupting terrorist activity, this operation is aimed at permanently dismantling the terrorist networks in the city, ensuring they cannot recover once Israeli forces leave. Lieutenant Colonel D. acknowledged that while there is no specific timeline for the operation’s completion, the IDF will remain in place for as long as it takes to secure lasting stability. He reaffirmed that Israel will not allow Jenin to become a terrorist stronghold again, and that every effort will be made to protect the people of Israel from the growing threats emanating from the region.
