IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir issued a sharp warning to Tehran today.
“The Iranian attempt to set equations and change reality will fail,” Zamir said. “The strike we carried out in Iran was preparation for a much more significant and heavier blow.”
His remarks came as Israel continues to face Iranian-backed threats on several fronts. Those include direct tensions with Tehran, Hezbollah activity on the northern border, and continued IDF strikes in Lebanon.
Northern Border Infiltration
Earlier today, a Hezbollah terrorist crossed into Israeli territory near the Israel-Lebanon border, according to the IDF Spokesperson.

The incident followed an initial report of shooting toward IDF soldiers in the Ramim Ridge area. Troops operating there identified a terrorist inside Israeli territory, close to the border.
The soldiers eliminated him shortly after he crossed into Israel.
The IDF sent ground troops to the scene, including special forces. Israeli Air Force aircraft also joined the operation. Forces continued extensive searches in the area.
The IDF said it is still reviewing the details of the incident.
IDF Pressures Hezbollah in Tyre
The IDF also expanded its strikes in Tyre, increasing pressure on Hezbollah as Israel works to dismantle the Iranian-backed threat from Lebanon.
According to the report, the IDF struck new western neighborhoods in the city that had not been targeted before. Parts of the area received evacuation warnings for the first time today.
For Israel, the purpose is clear: weaken Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure, push back Iran’s proxy army, and restore security for the residents of the north.
Hezbollah Serves Tehran, Not Lebanon
Hezbollah issued a long statement praising Iran’s response to Israel’s strike in Dahieh, thanking Tehran and the Houthis while attacking Lebanese officials who condemned Iran.
The statement made Hezbollah’s allegiance clear: the terror group is defending the Iranian regime, not Lebanon. Notably, Hezbollah did not mention southern Lebanon once, even as the IDF continues striking Hezbollah targets there and Iran appears to have backed away from earlier threats.
For Israel, the message is simple. Hezbollah remains an Iranian proxy, and the IDF is continuing to hit the terror network where it operates.
