Ben & Jerry’s Israel released a special Zionist ice cream flavor called “Milk and Honey,” in a clear answer to years of boycott pressure from the brand’s global management.
The flavor includes vanilla-and-honey cream ice cream with fudge pieces shaped like Stars of David. It is also being produced in cooperation with dairy farms from the Gaza border area and the Yad Mordechai apiaries.
The name carries deep biblical weight. The Tanakh repeatedly describes the Land of Israel as “a land flowing with milk and honey” (Exodus 3:8). Here, that ancient phrase becomes a modern statement of Jewish resilience, agriculture, and return.
Ben & Jerry’s Israel Defies Boycott
The company’s global management has long opposed the Israeli franchisee’s refusal to boycott parts of Israel.
A short time ago, the board of Ben & Jerry’s global decided to stop selling its products in Judea and Samaria. However, Israeli franchisee and importer Avi Zinger refused to comply with the directive.
In response, the global company announced that it would not renew his franchise agreement. According to the report, it also decided to release a Palestine-flavored ice cream as a show of solidarity with the terrorists.
Milk And Honey From The South

The new Israeli flavor sends a very different message.
Part of the proceeds will go toward the rehabilitation of the Gaza border region. Therefore, the flavor does not only answer boycott activists. It also supports communities that have carried the direct cost of war and terror.
The choice of Yad Mordechai honey also strengthens the symbolism. The name “Milk and Honey” ties the product to the land itself, while the Star of David pieces make the message unmistakable.
Israeli Independence After Pressure

Unilever, the international parent company, did not support Ben & Jerry’s global decision to boycott Israel. Instead, it reached an agreement to sell the brand’s rights in Israel fully and permanently to Zinger.
Ben & Jerry’s global management tried to block the deal through a lawsuit against Unilever. However, a federal judge rejected the request for an injunction and approved the sale.
As a result, the brand in Israel became fully independent and separate from the global company.
That point also connects to a broader Israeli spirit. As previously discussed in “Mark Levin In Israel: Israelis Will Never Surrender,” Mark Levin praised Israelis during a visit to Israel, saying their determination to survive reflects nearly 4,000 years of Jewish history.
Now, Ben & Jerry’s Israel is turning that same spirit into a flavor: Jewish, local, defiant, and rooted in the land.
