Saudi Arabia Pushing to Cut Israel from Corridor Project
Saudi Arabia is reportedly exploring an alternate route for the planned India-Europe economic corridor that would bypass Israel, amid stalled normalization talks and regional security issues.
According to a report on i24NEWS, the Saudis are considering changing the planned railway route from India to Europe so that it would pass through Syria instead of Jordan, Israel, and the Haifa Port.
This comes amid difficulties in normalization and the security situation in the region’s maritime straits, reported correspondent Amihai Stein.
