Division 162, Givati Commanders Arrive at Base for Talks After Disciplinary Incident

The IDF stated that at the peak of the incident, about 100 soldiers left their unit, and now, with the exception of one platoon, all soldiers have returned to the base. The soldiers who led the incident will be tried before the brigade commander.

The army backed the commanders’ decision to act against “young-veteran” phenomena, but clarified that the incident will be thoroughly investigated, including the command’s handling of it.
