Brigade 188 Completes Mission in Southern Gaza; Over 10 Tunnels Destroyed, One Held Hostages

Forces of the 188th Brigade Combat Team, under the command of the Gaza Division, completed an eight-month operation in the southern Gaza Strip aimed at clearing the ‘Yellow Line’ area of terror infrastructure and defending the sector.

In cooperation with the Yahalom unit, the forces destroyed more than ten underground tunnels, one of which was used to hold hostages.

Additionally, the soldiers located numerous weapons, including rockets, explosive devices, and launchers, and established new routes and posts as part of an improved defense concept.
