Mosab Hassan Yousef Warns Trump On Gaza Plan

Mosab Hassan Yousef, known as “The Green Prince,” warned President Donald Trump that his Gaza plan may face a painful reality check.

Yousef wrote on X that a senior American official said Trump would be “very disappointed” if Israel blocks progress on his Gaza plan, “Mr. President, I am sorry, but I have to tell you this: You are going to be utterly disappointed,” Yousef wrote.

The Tanakh says, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend.” That verse gives this warning its force. Sometimes loyalty means telling hard truths before a dangerous illusion becomes policy.

In the past, Mosab served as a Shin Bet agent and became known by the nickname “The Green Prince.” Since leaving that world, he has sharply criticized Palestinian leadership and society in public.

Since the October 7 massacre, Yousef has become one of the most forceful pro-Israel voices in the international advocacy arena. His background gives his comments unusual weight. He understands Hamas from inside the society and family structure that produced it. He also understands why Western leaders often misread the group’s intentions.

Gaza Plan And Hamas Reality
