Fears for father, six children in Negev after contact lost in Nahal Gov
Arava Rescue Unit volunteers were dispatched for an urgent search in Nahal Gov after contact was lost with a father and his six children, ages 9–19.
The family left Ir Ovot in the morning and began the hike around 9:30 a.m. At 11:30 a.m., they reported to the mother that they were exhausted from the intense heat, and contact with them has been lost since. Split rescue teams are operating simultaneously at the upper and lower parts of the stream.
