Iran Executes Two Citizens Convicted of Spying for Israel

The Iranian news agency Fars reported that authorities in Iran executed two local citizens, Amid Behzad and Pouria Safout, who were sentenced to death on charges of spying for Israel, including during the recent war.

According to the report, one of those executed was called “a soldier of Netanyahu” in the announcement, and it was claimed he provided intelligence to the opposition channel Iran International.
