Defense Minister to Lapid: ‘Support the IDF’s budget request’

The Minister of Defense said: “I call on Opposition Leader Lapid to support the IDF’s request for a budget increase. We are facing dramatic security challenges that require decisions right now.”

Yisrael Katz added, “The regional reality does not allow us to wait: The threats are evolving, our enemies continue to act, and we must ensure that the IDF is prepared and equipped for any development. A delay in providing the necessary resources could have direct consequences for the IDF’s readiness and the security of Israel’s citizens.”
