Southern Deployment Ready, ‘Ball in Israel’s Court’

A Lebanese military source told the newspaper “Nidaa’ al-Watan” that the Lebanese army has completed its preparations to deploy forces on the ground, particularly in the Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh area.

The source noted that the completion of the first phase in the “pilot zones” could occur as early as today, in accordance with the decision made, adding that “the ball is now in the Israeli side’s court” to begin implementation.
