Reuters: Major illegal gambling network is a secret financial arm for Iran’s Revolutionary Guards
According to the report, the network laundered at least $4 billion in cryptocurrency through an unlicensed exchange in Dubai named ‘Shalbit,’ operated by Iranian exiles and social media influencers.
The funds were used to circumvent international sanctions and flowed directly to the central bank in Tehran and to digital wallets linked to terrorism.
