IDF Spokesperson: Israeli Civilians Entered Outskirts of Nablus
Confrontations broke out at the scene, which included rock-throwing by Palestinians and gunfire into the air by an Israeli civilian, with no casualties. Additionally, a report was received about the desecration of a cemetery in the area.
IDF forces that were prepared in advance rushed to the location, dispersed the gathering, and removed all the Israelis from the area. Subsequently, after rocks were thrown at the forces, the soldiers responded with suspect arrest procedure and fired toward a main instigator.
The IDF reiterates that entry into Area A is forbidden, dangerous, and constitutes a violation of the law.
