Khamenei’s Son Reportedly in Hiding

Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the assassinated Supreme Leader and the country’s de facto ruler from his hiding place, has not been appearing in public.

According to assessments passed on to mediators, the reason for his public absence is plastic surgery he underwent to change his physical appearance, along with grave security concerns that his presence would allow Israel to locate and assassinate him.
