Iran launched missiles and drones overnight at American facilities in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, and Kuwait, in response to a widespread wave of U.S. military strikes on its territory.
At the same time, Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz due to the military activity, but the United States rejected the claim and clarified that the shipping lane remains open.
