Ido Appel, Uri Bar Or Killed in Gaza
The IDF has announced the deaths of two soldiers killed in the northern Gaza Strip: Staff Sgt. Ido Appel, 21, and Staff Sgt. Uri Bar Or, 21. Both served in the Nahal Brigade’s 50th Battalion.
The IDF cleared for publication this morning (Tuesday) that Staff Sgt. Ido Appel, 21, from Tzofar, and Staff Sgt. Uri Bar Or, 21, from Midreshet Ben-Gurion, soldiers in the Nahal Brigade’s 50th Battalion, fell in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
The two were killed when an anti-tank missile struck the building they were in. A combat officer from the 50th Battalion was seriously wounded in the same incident.
Their families have been notified.
Since the beginning of the war, 630 IDF soldiers have been killed, 282 of them since the start of the ground offensive in the Gaza Strip.
