Over the weekend, the IDF intensified its operations in southern Lebanon to counter Hezbollah’s threats and ensure the safety of northern Israeli communities. During focused searches, soldiers from the 769th Brigade achieved significant results, uncovering a building in a southern Lebanese village that housed a multi-barrel rocket launcher, hundreds of mortars, explosive devices, and RPG launchers belonging to the terrorist organization. Additionally, anti-tank firing positions and underground weapon caches were discovered outside the building, with all the armaments either confiscated or destroyed on-site.

Eliminating the Threat
In a nearby warehouse, IDF forces discovered dozens of shoulder-fired missiles, additional explosive devices, and military equipment, all of which were confiscated or destroyed on-site. These operations demonstrate the IDF’s commitment to neutralizing threats while adhering to the terms of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF reiterated its resolve: “The IDF continues to deepen its achievements, remains deployed in southern Lebanon, and will act against any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens.” This commitment reflects the words of King David in the Psalms: “He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields with fire.” – Psalm 46:9 We join in prayer for continued strength and protection for Israel as it defends its land and people.
