Gov’t Funds Shin Bet to Fight Arab Sector Crime
Prime Minister Netanyahu announced a new plan to combat crime in the Arab sector, allocating nearly 500 million shekels for the Shin Bet and police to establish dedicated units.
The government has approved hundreds of millions of shekels for the Shin Bet and the police to eradicate crime in the Arab sector.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, Minister May Golan, and Minister Ben Gvir announced the plan, under which the Shin Bet will begin operations and approximately 500 million NIS will be allocated to establish dedicated units in the Shin Bet and the police.
Netanyahu: “We are determined to fight crime. Arab citizens deserve security.” Ben Gvir: “We are putting the money where it’s really needed: into the Shin Bet and the police.”
