A senior military official addressed the disciplinary incident in the battalion and stressed that alongside the fighting and the risk to the lives of all combatants, from the battalion commander to the last soldier, it is a serious incident that is unacceptable in the IDF.

The official noted that the incident will be handled by the commanders with a combination of respect and appreciation for the soldiers alongside high and uncompromising demands.
