Defense Minister Katz in Netiv HaAsara: ‘Senior Hamas terrorist arrested, IDF will not leave Gaza’

During a visit to the community of Netiv HaAsara on the first day of the school year, Defense Minister Israel Katz said that security forces arrested a senior Hamas terrorist a short time ago. Katz clarified that Israel will not move from the Strip until its complete demilitarization and the destruction of the tunnels, and stressed: “For every hair on an Israeli child’s head, we will take off the heads of Hamas leaders. The response to any launch, including balloons and drones, will be powerful and will include the evacuation of neighborhoods from which fire is carried out.”
