Smuggling of About 100 Nicotine Bottles in Aid Shipment Foiled at Kerem Shalom

The truck and the shipment, purchased by an Israeli company approved by the aid mechanism, were confiscated and transferred to customs. Following the incident, COGAT Commander Maj. Gen. Yoram Halevi ordered an immediate freeze of the company’s permit to bring aid into the Strip until further notice.
