Water System Returns to Normal: Desalination Plants Resume Full Operation

Following a situation assessment by Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Eli Cohen, it was announced that the desalination plants in Sorek, Palmachim, and Ashdod are returning to full operation after being temporarily shut down due to weather damage.

The Ministry of Energy clarified that the water supply to households is continuing as usual, and in the Jerusalem area, where localized disruptions were recorded, reservoirs are expected to be refilled by 10:00 PM.
