Beersheba Terror Plot Foiled

The Israel Police and Shin Bet thwarted a terror cell of four Israeli citizens from Segev Shalom who planned an attack at the Beersheba Central Bus Station, as well as shooting at a police station and harming security forces.

The suspects were arrested in May and June 2026 in an undercover operation by Yamas South. Their activities began with incitement on social media, with some of the suspects participating while they were still minors. This morning, the Southern District Attorney’s Office filed a serious indictment against them in the Beersheba District Court.
