The Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and the Fight Against Antisemitism has formally petitioned the Population and Immigration Authority to prevent a delegation from the anti-Israel organization “Eyewitness Palestine” from entering Israel. The delegation is made up of 32 people, two of whom are members of the Georgia State House of Representatives.
In addition, the ministry has recommended adding a designated clause to Israel’s entry application form (ETA), requiring activists and members of organized delegations to disclose their affiliations.
The organization Eyewitness Palestine publicly declares that it “stands firm in the global struggle for a free and liberated Palestine.” As part of its activities to promote boycotts and the delegitimization of the State of Israel, the group conducts between three and four delegations each year within Israeli territory. According to the organization, the purpose of these delegations is to “understand the reality in Palestine,” and they include meetings with Palestinian organizers, activists, and community leaders. In reality, the organization and its members are actively involved in efforts to delegitimize Israel and advance international boycott campaigns.
According to the Ministry, “Their activities go beyond the legitimate expression of political opinion and are characterized by systematic calls for boycotts, the glorification of violence, the justification of harm to civilians, and the dissemination of content with antisemitic, anti-Zionist, and anti-Israel characteristics.”
Keeping Out Bad Actors
Minister Chikli stated: “The rule is clear: those who incite against us will simply not be allowed to enter. We are working to prevent the entry of yet another anti-Israel organization into the country, but beyond that, we are moving to the next stage and promoting changes to Israel’s entry guidelines.
The new policy we are leading will be based on full transparency, requiring anyone entering Israel to declare on whose behalf they are operating and on what mission. Anyone who lies to the authorities will risk imprisonment. The rule is clear: those who incite against us will not be here.”

Chikli added: “Following the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and the Fight Against Antisemitism’s monitoring of the organization Eyewitness Palestine and its members, I instructed the Ministry’s Director General to contact the Population and Immigration Authority in order to block their entry. At the same time, the Ministry under my leadership recommended adding a requirement to Israel’s entry forms that any non-citizen traveler report which organization or delegation they are affiliated with, and false reporting could lead to imprisonment. This step will enable us to continue preventing future entries by activists and organizations that promote boycotts and the delegitimization of Israel.”
Recently, the Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and the Fight Against Antisemitism also recommended to the Population and Immigration Authority that entry be denied to 28 antisemitic figures. Among these were Bilal Erdoğan, an activist and son of Turkey’s president; Fehmi Bülent Yıldırım, head of the IHH organization responsible for the Mavi Marmara flotilla intended to break a military blockade of Gaza; Dr. Ali Erbaş, head of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs; as well as clerics, journalists, academics, content creators, opinion leaders, and senior figures in public bodies.
Privileged to Welcome Others
As a Western democracy, the State of Israel upholds freedom of speech, religion and movement, and has traditionally only blocked entry to people with ties to terrorism. Recent analyses however, have shown direct links between anti-Israel agitation and antisemitic acts of violence; the infiltration of human rights and pro-Palestinian groups by actual terrorists; and provocative and criminal activity by activists inside the country.
Thankfully, Israel is privileged to welcome far different people to its shores. At the recent international event he organized on combating antisemitism, Minister Chikli hosted a variety of guests from around the world who spoke on the issue and voiced their support for the Jewish nation amidst the recent wave of Jew-hatred.
One of these was Pastor Rob McCoy, who according to the Minister, “is one of the most extraordinary individuals I’ve had the privilege to meet in recent years. A former pastor to Charlie Kirk, he is a man of rare moral clarity – unafraid to stand for Western civilization and the State of Israel when others retreat. His address at the conference was a fusion of strategic insight and spiritual depth. Clear, principled, and uncompromising. One of the most important speeches I have ever heard”.
Listen to his uplifting words:
“I’m here to tell you that I stand with you.
My entire family lives under death threats. I have been smeared. And yet you know this truth: Without courage, truth is left orphaned.”Pastor Rob McCoy is one of the most extraordinary individuals I’ve had the privilege to meet in… pic.twitter.com/uvyoipVH5G
