Doctors Making Aliyah
Israel is offering major physician olim grants to Jewish doctors from the Diaspora who make aliyah and work in public medicine in the Negev and Galilee.
The program aims to bring more skilled doctors to Israel. It also strengthens public clinics and hospitals in the country’s northern and southern regions.
The Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the Ministry of Negev, Galilee and National Resilience, and the Ministry of Health are leading the effort.
According to the latest data, more than 500 doctors made aliyah to Israel in 2025.
Grants for Physician Olim
Specialist doctors who work in the Negev and Galilee can receive NIS 300,000 over three years.

They will receive NIS 50,000 after the first year of work. Then, they will receive NIS 100,000 after the second year. After the third year, they will receive NIS 150,000.
Doctors who both live and work in the Negev and Galilee can receive NIS 400,000.
They will receive NIS 70,000 after the first year. Then, they will receive NIS 130,000 after the second year. After the third year, they will receive NIS 200,000.
In addition, the grant does not replace regular assistance for eligible new olim and returning residents.
Aliyah With a Mission
The program includes new olim, citizen olim, returning minors, and returning residents who meet the requirements.
Doctors must hold an Israeli medical license and a specialist physician license. They must also commit to working in the Negev or Galilee for at least three years.
Applicants must submit their forms by June 30, 2026, or by November 30, 2026.
For Israel, this is more than an employment program. It is aliyah with a mission.
Every doctor who comes strengthens the Jewish state. Every family that moves north or south helps build Israel beyond the center. And every clinic that gains another physician becomes part of Israel’s story of return, service, and renewal.
