Israel Railways to run special Rosh Hashanah schedule, extend Jerusalem lines for Selichot
As part of these preparations, night train service will be extended on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (September 8-9 and 15-16, 2026), operating continuously between the Herzliya and Jerusalem-Yitzhak Navon stations without requiring a transfer at Ben Gurion Airport.
On the eve of the holiday, Friday, September 11, 2026, trains will operate between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM on a Friday schedule, with increased service of two trains per hour on the Haifa-Tel Aviv line in each direction, and one train per hour on the Hadera East-Rosh HaAyin North line. Train service will resume at the conclusion of the holiday on Sunday, September 13, 2026, starting at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night schedule, including service on the Hadera East-Rosh HaAyin North line.
