Defense Establishment to Hold National Biological Terror Drill

The national emergency system, government ministries, and security agencies will hold a large-scale drill in the next two days simulating a response to an unconventional terror event.

The drill, planned in advance as part of the annual training program, will be held in Ma’ale Adumim and at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem, led by the Ministry of Defense and the Israel Police. During the drill, there will be increased movement of security forces and rescue vehicles, and sounds of explosions will be heard in the area.
