IDF Arabic-language Spokesman Avichay Adraee published targeted evacuation warnings for 29 villages in southern Lebanon as Israel prepares to act against Hezbollah targets.
According to the notices, the warnings apply to villages across several areas, including 21 in the Nabatieh district, six in Sidon, and two in the Jezzine district. The evacuation warnings show that Israel’s campaign against Hezbollah is moving deeper into southern Lebanon.
The notices told residents to leave immediately and move away from the listed villages. The IDF also warned that anyone near Hezbollah operatives, facilities, or weapons could put their life in danger.
Hezbollah Violations
The IDF said Hezbollah’s violations of the ceasefire are forcing Israel to respond with force. Israel has repeatedly warned that it does not seek to harm Lebanese civilians. Instead, it is targeting Hezbollah’s military infrastructure and terror activity.
This is the central moral distinction in the war. Hezbollah embeds itself in towns and villages, using Lebanese civilians as cover. Israel, meanwhile, issues evacuation warnings before strikes in order to reduce civilian harm.
The Arabic-language warning made that point directly, telling residents to leave areas near Hezbollah positions while stressing that the IDF does not seek to harm them.

For Israel, the threat is immediate. Hezbollah’s attacks from Lebanon have targeted Israeli communities, soldiers, and the northern border. Therefore, Israel is acting to push the danger away from its civilians.
Israel And The United States
The escalation also comes as the United States continues efforts to shape a broader regional agreement involving Iran. However, Israel has made clear that no diplomatic track can require it to ignore Hezbollah’s threat on its northern border.
For Washington and Jerusalem, the same principle is at stake. Iran arms, funds, and directs terror forces across the region, including Hezbollah. As a result, Israel’s fight in Lebanon is part of the wider struggle against Iran’s terror network.
Ultimately, the warnings send one message: Israel will not allow Hezbollah to turn southern Lebanon into another launchpad for October 7-style attacks. The IDF is warning civilians to move, and it is preparing to strike the terrorists hiding behind them.
