IDF Confirms: Remains of SFC Yehuda Yekutiel Katz, Last MIA from Battle of Sultan Yacoub, Returned
Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir clarified: “Our duty to our fallen has not changed – we will not leave any of our people behind.”
Yehuda Yekutiel Katz, of blessed memory, fought in the Armored Corps and fell in the Battle of Sultan Yacoub during the First Lebanon War. He had been designated as missing since June 1982. His remains were located in a joint intelligence and operational mission and were identified at the Center for the Identification of Casualties.
