Throughout last week, Israeli security forces continued operations across Judea and Samaria aimed at thwarting terrorist activity. During the operations, approximately 75 wanted individuals were arrested, and more than 40 weapons were seized.

Operations Across All Sectors

On Sunday night, forces arrested 20 suspects. As part of the broader operation in northern Samaria, IDF troops from the Kfir Brigade located and destroyed a cache of explosives in the Nur al-Shams refugee camp, under the Ephraim Regional Brigade.
That same night, Duvdevan Unit fighters operated in the village of Al-Arroub, under the Etzion Regional Brigade, arresting six suspects involved in stone-throwing attacks. The detainees were transferred for further investigation by security forces.

On Monday night, IDF troops from the Binyamin Brigade, along with Yahalom Unit combat engineers and Border Police forces, demolished the home of terrorist Muhammad Shahab in the village of Al-Ram.
Shahab carried out a terrorist attack at the Nir Tzvi Junction on July 14, 2024, during which Capt. Ariel Topaz z”l, an intelligence officer in the IDF Research Division, was critically wounded and later died from his injuries. Three other soldiers were wounded in the same attack.

Footage Shows Demolition of Terrorist’s Home:

The forces located a weapons cache in the village, containing three M16 rifles, nine Airsoft pistols, gas grenades, knives, weapon parts, and ammunition.

Additionally, Israeli Police and IDF forces operated in the village of Yatta, in the Judea Brigade sector, and uncovered another weapons cache containing an M16 rifle, a handgun, a Carlo-style submachine gun, a hunting rifle, and other combat equipment.
The seized weapons and arrested suspects were transferred for further handling by the Judea and Samaria District Police and the Shin Bet.

Throughout the week, security forces arrested the head of a terrorist network operating out of the Balata refugee camp in the Samaria Brigade sector.
In addition, a wanted suspect planning a terrorist attack in Qalqilya, under the Ephraim Brigade, was arrested.
Forces also discovered a weapons cache hidden inside a women’s clothing store in Hebron, in the Judea Brigade sector.

According to the IDF Spokesperson:”Israeli security forces will continue operating across Judea and Samaria to thwart terrorism and safeguard the security of Israel’s citizens.”
