Israel, Venezuela Agree to Renew Consular Relations, Establish Civil Services Mechanism

The move, agreed upon between Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar and his counterpart Felix Plasencia, creates the first official channel between the countries since relations were severed in 2009, and will also be based on continued cooperation and Israeli aid for earthquake damage in the country.
