Fallen IDF soldier Shlomo Haimson’s burial site found after 78 years

Haimson, one of the Cyprus detainees, was killed in September 1948 by fire from the detention camp guards. He was recognized as a fallen IDF soldier and was buried anonymously in Haifa in 1970. His identity has now been determined, and his relatives have been notified.
