Iran Shut Down British Power Station for Four Days in Cyberattack
According to The Telegraph, this is the first time hackers identified with the Iranian regime have succeeded in shutting down such a facility in Britain, in an incident that occurred concurrently with a series of attacks on water infrastructure in the United States.
The attack in Britain targeted a small power producer and therefore did not affect electricity production or supply across the country.
